Consistently securing domestic and international customers by providing convenient SaaS
Lockin Company, which operates mobile app security service LIAPP, announced on the 29th that the number of domestic and international subscribers exceeded 10,000 as of the 29th of this month.
LIAPP is an integrated security SaaS (Software as a Service) that combines security functions specialized for mobile apps into one, protecting apps from various hacking attacks. It has steadily grown by establishing itself as a customized security partner for companies that operate mobile apps, such as large domestic and international companies, public institutions, financial institutions, game developers, and startups in Japan, the United States, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and Brazil. The number of subscribers to LIAPP in 2024 has grown by 75% compared to last year.
The driving force behind LIAPP's growth is its agile response to the changing domestic and international awareness of mobile app security. LIAPP, the first in the industry to provide mobile app security as SaaS, allows developers who recognize the need for security but face development resource, time, and cost issues to apply security functions with a single upload without professional coding or installation.
In addition, the LIAPP site renewal in June of last year not only provided a simple and intuitive UI to enhance customer convenience, but also allows anyone to easily use security services as much as they want, regardless of the size of their organization, as it is a subscription service where customers pay only for what they use.
The continuous development of customized products, such as the launch of 'Mobile Security Keypad Service LIKEY' and 'Mobile App Screen Capture Blocking Service LISS', also appears to be one of the factors accelerating the increase in customers. LIKEY is a security keypad service that protects the personal information of users entered, and is receiving great response as customers can design the UI themselves.
And LISS, which was released in October of last year, provides SDK in the form of a library so that developers can build screen capture blocking and remote control app detection functions, which are essential elements of mobile app security, in a short period of time.
“We will focus on feedback from customers using LISS in the future, develop and enhance security functions that meet their needs, and create a security service that anyone can use without burden,” said Choi Myoung Kyu, CEO of Lockin Company. “We plan to introduce a new service in the second half of the year so that LIKEY and LISS, which are currently receiving a flood of customer inquiries, can be used more conveniently.”
Meanwhile, Lockin Company plans to participate in the ‘2024 Secu-Tech Show 2024’ to be held at COEX in Samseong-dong from June 19 to 21 to allow domestic customers to experience its products and services directly.
