Lockin Company LIAPP Signs Supply Contract with Indonesia's Largest State-Owned Bank

2022.01.12.

Mobile application security specialist Lockin Company (CEO Myoung Kyu Choi) has entered into a full-scale overseas market by supplying its mobile app security solution 'LIAPP' to one of Indonesia's largest state-owned banks.

Lockin Company announced on the 11th that it has signed a supply contract with Liapp, which provides all the security necessary for app operation, such as △app hacking threat detection △app protection △anti-hacking, to secure electronic financial security of banking apps of Indonesian banks.

LIAPP is an all-in-one integrated security solution developed by Lockin Company based on its patented mobile app security technology. In this project, it provides functions such as △source code obfuscation △app forgery and modification prevention △jailbreak and rooting detection △memory protection to Indonesian banking apps. LIAPP is evaluated as the most suitable security service for financial apps that require multiple security functions because each security function is organically combined to supplement vulnerabilities without technology duplication and conflict, and stably protects apps.

In addition, LIAPP protects the entire source code with just one click without separate coding or programming, so it can be applied quickly, and apps with security applied guarantee user convenience with the same level of fast execution speed as existing apps before application, drawing attention in the financial sector where strong security and fast application are required.

In particular, Lockin Company's winning this project is significant in that it has been recognized for its domestic security technology, beating out leading overseas companies in Indonesia, which is developing as a financial industry hub in Southeast Asia. Indonesia, which boasts the world's fourth largest population and a smartphone penetration rate of nearly 80%, has recently emerged as a mecca for the financial industry with the growth of mobile fintech, banking, and electronic payment platforms. However, due to the low level of security awareness among its citizens, financial fraud and crime are emerging as social problems, and the introduction of app security technology is urgent.

The host of this project is Indonesia's state-owned bank, and through the introduction of LIAPP, it is expected to not only prevent financial fraud among its citizens while safely protecting personal information and financial assets, but also expand the scale of international financial transactions.

Choi Myoung Kyu, CEO of Lockin Company, said, "Currently, as the digital financial market is rapidly developing throughout Southeast Asia, mobile security issues are becoming a hot topic, and overseas companies are continuously calling to introduce LIAPP." He added, "Starting with this project, we will steadily expand our overseas market presence through active technological cooperation and partnerships to strengthen app security services in new southern regions such as Indonesia and Vietnam."

Lockin Company is a mobile application security company that provides reapps to clients in various fields including financial institutions, public, gaming, fintech, healthcare, and artificial intelligence (AI), and has been installed on over 50 million devices worldwide.
